Our Story

Cheers!
Founded in 2023, Cheers, Madison is an inclusive community choir that brings people together through the joy of singing, connection, and community. What began with around 50 singers has grown to nearly 250 participants in each singing cycle, with more than 2,000 singers joining us over the past three years! Designed to be a more casual and social choral experience, Cheers offers meaningful music-making in a fun, informal atmosphere where members can enjoy a libation, meet new people, and build lasting connections. Whether you have sung in choirs for years or are trying it for the very first time, Cheers is a place where everyone belongs. So come sing with us!
How it works
We host 6 cycles from August through June.
Each cycle varies in length but typically consists of 6 rehearsals and a final concert.
Registration occurs approximately a month before the beginning of a new cycle.
During the cycle, we learn 5-6 choral pieces.
We sing music in various languages, including classical repertoire and pop songs, among others!
Rehearsals take place at the Garver Feed Mill from 7-8:30PM on Tuesday evenings.
